Tier 3 engineering, and local IT help when that is what you need

Two lanes. They are not the same offer, and they are not mixed together to sound bigger.

Top of the Rim has two lanes, and they are not the same offer.

Tier 3 engineering

This is the core practice. Active Directory and hybrid identity, Windows Server, CIS, STIG, and NIST hardening, WSUS/SCCM patch pipelines, vulnerability remediation, and evidence packages that can stand up in a Big 4 review. That work is for organizations modernizing a directory, preparing for scrutiny, or trying to stop living inside emergency change windows.

Local IT assistance

This is the practical lane. On-site and remote triage, workstation and network basics, and coordination with ISPs, VARs, and software vendors. It is for businesses and organizations that need a reliable systems contact without hiring a full department.

Why they stay separate

Local help should not be dressed up as enterprise architecture, and a Tier 3 engagement should not get diluted into ticket clearing. Some clients need one. Some start in one lane and later need the other. The discovery conversation is where that gets sorted, with the same engineer on both sides of the line.

If you are not sure which lane you are in, that is a fine reason to call. The practice is based in Overgaard, Arizona. On-site or remote. More on that delivery model: Tier 3 from Top of the Rim.
